The Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Golden State Warriors, 129-121, at the Oracle Arena to cut their opponents’ NBA Playoffs opening round lead to 3-2. Danilo Gallinari was among the main contributors with 26 points, but Lou Williams with 33 points including 11 in the last quarter was the difference-maker. Kevin Durant scored 45, but wasn’t enough for the hosts.
Clint Capela notched a 16-point, 10-rebound double-double for the Houston Rockets in the 100-93 home win over the Utah Jazz. The Texans clinched the best-of-seven series in five games overcoming Ricky Rubio’s 17-point, 11-assist double-double, Rudy Gobert finished his 2018-19 campaign with nine points and ten boards.
