Giannis Antetokounmpo dropped a team-high 22 points, but the Milwaukee Bucks began the 2019 NBA Playoffs Quarterfinals series versus the Boston Celtics with an 112-90 home loss. The Greek Freak struggled to find a path towards the opponents’ rim and only made 4 of his 16 two-point attempts. However he sank three triples, also grabbed eight rebounds, dished two assists and rejected one shot in 34 minutes.
“We have to focus to play better. We’ve just got to regroup, watch tape and be ready for Tuesday” the Greek Freak mentioned after the contest and added: “Overall, that wasn’t us. We got to pick it up defensively.”
“They did a great job defending me, especially Horford” he admitted commenting on Game 1 and Al Horford’s effective defense against him.
