Fatigue can be expected after remaining on the court for over one hour.

Nikola Jokic played 65 minutes for the Denver Nuggets in their quadruple-overtime loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday. Bob Cousy back in 1953 was the last player to remain on the court for one hour and five minutes during an NBA Playoffs game.

It was just his tenth postseason contest, but the 24-year-old Serbian big notched his third triple-double with 33 points, 18 rebounds and 14 dimes to his name. However, he missed a key free throw which would likely send both teams to a fifth extra period.

Exhaustion might have struck Jokic, but he didn’t understand it. “You don’t think how many minutes you’re playing, you’re just trying to win the game with everything you got” he mentioned after the thriller and jokingly added: “I’m not going out after four overtimes.”
