The Portland Trail Blazers won Game 7 against the Denver Nuggets and advanced to the Western Conference Finals to face the Golden State Warriors. Enes Kanter finished Sunday’s game at the Pepsi Center with 12 points, 13 rebounds and one dime in 40 minutes.
Asked about facing Nikola Jokic in the thrilling best-of-seven series, he replied: “He can do pretty much everything. If you can’t make him uncomfortable, he’s going to take you apart. We did that all series, especially tonight.”
Kanter also touched on the key to victory in Game on the road mentioning: “We were the fresher team down the stretch. We did a great job all season staying in shape. Our bench is just so deep, everybody can bring so much to the table.”
Jusuf Nurkic (left foot) will remain out during the Western Conference Finals, but the Blazers might face an additional injury problem. Rodney Hood hyperextended his left knee in the third quarter of Game 7 and is considered questionable for Game 1 versus the Warriors.
