The upcoming NBA Global Camp scheduled for May 30 – June 2 will probably get canceled due to logistical issues with the venue in Monaco as well as other concerns, according to Jonathan Givony.
Plenty of people had already booked travel, including players that were invited to attend. The organizers noted that the decision is still not final as there are possible scenarios which might turn things around: “Chances are greater that it may not happen but situations are in play that may still save the camp.”
The 2019 NBA Global Camp was supposed to showcase Draft-eligible prospect from outside the U.S. through five-on-five games, shooting drills along with strength and agility testing in front of NBA teams’ representatives.
