MILWAUKEE – The Toronto Raptors beat the Milwaukee Bucks with a 105-99 victory, in one of the franchise’s most important wins to date. The Toronto side got a 3-2 lead in the series and will have the change to win the series at home and advance to the NBA finals for the first time in their history.
Kawhi Leonard did everything for the Raptors with 35 points and nine boards across 40 minutes on the court, while at the other side of the court, Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 24 points, six rebounds and six assists in 39 minutes.
The Greek Freak appeared to twist his right ankle when he stepped on Kawhi Leonard’s during a play and exited the game right before its end.
Spaniard Serge Ibaka added six points and six rebounds for the winners, while his compatriot Marc Gasol also had four points and six rebounds. The Spaniard of the losing side, Nikola Mirotic, finished the game with two rebounds and Turk forward Ersan Ilyasova added one assist.
