Ahead of Game 3 of the 2019 NBA Finals, Steve Kerr provided an update on his injured players. The best-of-seven series is tied, 1-1, and will continue at the Oracle Arena on Wednesday, but the defending champions are obligated go move on without Kevin Durant.
Durant, 30, is facing a right calf injury and is ruled out for Game 3. He hasn’t played at all during the Finals. However, he might be ready for Game 4.
Kevon Looney picked up a chest injury in Game 2 and after following tests was sidelined indefinitely. The 23-year-old American big won’t return during the Finals.
Klay Thompson left Game 2 with left hamstring tightness and is considered questionable for Game 3. However, Andre Iguodala and the rest of his teammates will be available.
Injuries around his squad force Kerr to adjust rotations and Game 3 will be no exception. Game 4 will take place on Friday again at the Oracle Arena.
For the Raptors, every player is set to go ahead of Game 3.
