The Memphis Grizzlies are hiring the Milwaukee Bucks assistant Taylor Jenkins as the franchise’s next head coach, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.
Jenkins was working as Mike Budenholzer’s assistant for five years in Atlanta (2013-2018) as well as this past season in Milwaukee. He was also the assistant coach for the NBA Eastern Conference All-Star Team and NBA World Team (Rising Stars) in 2015.
The Grizzlies also showed interest in and talked with the Zalgiris Kaunas’ coach Sarunas Jasikevicius who has been on various NBA teams’ radar this summer but doesn’t feel any urgency to leave a great situation with Zalgiris unless a perfect offer comes along.
