Golden State Warriors’ Klay Thompson went down with a torn ACL in his left knee during Game 6 of the NBA finals, as it was reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Thompson exited the game in the third quarter after he rose for a dunk to finish a fast break and was fouled by Danny Green while he was still up in the air. He then came down ugly on his left leg in pain.
Thompson’s injury isn’t the first one the Warriors faced in these finals. Kevin Durant, who’s been out for some part of the series, returned for Game 5 only to go down with a right leg injury.
