Serbian guard and Olympiacos target Vanja Marinkovic will travel to USA Wednesday (19/6) to attend the NBA Draft held Thursday (20/6). Basketball Sphere reports that “several teams” are interested in selecting the Serbian player.
Marinkovic, 22, is auto-eligible for the NBA Draft. The player finished 2018-2019 with Partizan Belgrade averaging 12.2 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 27.7 minutes in ABA League, plus 12.4 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 29:07 minutes in EuroCup.
There will be plenty of European players in the NBA Draft. French forward Sekou Doumboya is projected to be a lottery pick while Georgian center Goga Bitadze is also expected to be picked early.
