The two-time EuroLeague champion Nando De Colo has been looking for an opportunity to return to the NBA after five years, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.
“I have asked my agents to explore NBA opportunities over the coming weeks. I am excited for the next challenge in my career”, De Colo told ESPN.
Toronto still holds the 32-year-old’s rights and has the option to extend a qualifying offer to De Colo, which would give the NBA champions the opportunity to match a restricted free agent offer sheet from another team.
De Colo played 21 games with the Raptors in 2014 and before that had a two-year stint with the San Antonio Spurs who drafted him as the 53rd overall pick back in 2009.
