The Boston Celtics have the upper hand in the race to acquire Kemba Walker, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Walker will hit the free agency as a target for many teams. The Celtics, Dallas Mavericks and the L.A. Lakers have all been reported as possible destinations for the three-time All-Star guard.
There’s also a strong possibility that Walker will stay in Charlotte. The player has said that he would like to remain a Hornet and he will meet with club owner Michael Jordan before talking to his other suitors.
Walker finished 2018-2019 with 25.6 points, 5.9 assists, and 4.4 rebounds.
