Nikola Vucevic is expected to receive a four-year, 90 million offer by the Orlando Magic in order to remain with the team, according to Marc Stein of the New York Times.
The Magic will be looking to close the deal with Vucevic shortly after the free agency officially begins on Monday, July 1st.
Over the last couple of years, Vucevic, 28, has emerged as a franchise player for the Magic. He now comes off the top season of his professional career so far and the first time he was named an All-Star.
The Montenegrin center averaged career-highs 20.8 points, 12.0 rebounds, 3.8 assists plus 1.1 blocks in 31.4 minutes over 80 regular season games in 2018-2019 to lead Orlando to the playoffs for the first time since 2012. The Magic fell 4-1 to future champions Toronto Raptors in the first round.
