Damian Lillard is working toward an agreement on a four-year, 196 million dollars super maximum contract extension with the Portland Trail Blazers, according to Shams Charania.
According to Chris Haynes, the four-year deal, which will begin in 2021-22, includes a player option in the final year. The 28-year-old earned second-team All-NBA honors this season, making him supermax eligible.
Lillard was drafted sixth overall by the Trail Blazers in 2012 and has been with the team since. This past season, he led Portland to the Western Conference Finals.
