Spurs are finalizing a trade to send Latvian forward Davis Bertans to the Washington Wizards, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.
Bertans will be absorbed into a salary cap exception, allowing the Spurs to complete the deal with DeMarre Carroll.
Carroll’s contract was reworked to a three-year $21 million deal. The original agreement was two-years, $13 million.
Since 2016, Bertans has played for the Spurs, averaging 42% in threes during last season.
