Kawhi Leonard has inked his contract with the LA. Clippers. According to Shams Charania, Leonard has signed a three-year, 103 million deal to join the Clippers and return to Los Angeles, the city he was born and grew up in.
Leonard’s contract with the Clippers includes a player option for 2021-2022, Charania also reports.
The Clippers have landed two All-Star players in the free agency since they traded for Paul George. Leonard was reported to be making a “strong recruiting effort” in order to team up with George.
Leonard, 28, led the Toronto Raptors to the first NBA title in the history of the franchise in 2019. He won his second NBA ring and second Finals MVP.
