The Boston Celtics will waive French forward Guerschon Yabusele according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.
Yabusele, 23, was selected by the Celtics with the 16th overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft. After being picked, the player spent a season in China with the Shangai Sharks.
The Celtics signed Yabusele in 2017. He played 90 games with Boston these last two seasons and finished 2018-2019 with 2.3 points, 1.3 rebounds in 6.1 minutes over 41 regular season matches.
So far in offseason, the Celtics kept another European player, German forward/center Daniel Theis, by signing him to a new, two-year deal.
