The Toronto Raptors are planning to claim Greek forward Kostas Antetokounmpo off waivers according to Eurohoops sources.
Antetokounmpo, 21, was reported to have been waived by the Dallas Mavericks Friday. He had been under a two-way contract with Dallas since June 23, 2018.
Kostas Antetokounmpo, the younger brother of Milwaukee Bucks star and reigning NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, spent most of 2018-2019 in the G-League with the Texas Legends. He averaged 10.6 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 25.4 minutes over 40 games.
On March 21, Antetokounmpo made his NBA debut in a Mavs loss to the Portland Trail Blazers. He played another NBA game three days later in a win over Golden State Warriors.
