Former EuroLeague guard Derrick Walton signed a training camp deal with the Los Angeles Clippers according to The Athletic’s Jovan Buha.
The deal is a non-guaranteed minimum deal that can become a two-way contract.
Walton had joined the Clippers for the Summer League after completing the season in Germany with Alba Berlin. The American guard averaged 8.9 points, 4.6 assists and 2.0 rebounds in the German BBL League to help Alba reach the Finals and thus punch a ticket to the 2019-2020 EuroLeague.
Walton played 17 EuroLeague games in 2018-2019 with Zalgiris Kaunas. He had 4.6 points, 2.5 assists and 1.2 rebounds in 12:37 minutes during his debut stint in the competition before parting ways with the club in February.
