It has been a ride of extreme emotions for Jeremy Lin from the Linsanity outbreak to his free agency obscurity this year. Things have not fallen his way and the 30-year-old point guard explained to reporters at Taiwan how difficult it is for him to remain a free agent with July winding down.
“I’ve given more of myself to God every single year and every year it gets harder” he admitted and added: “And in English, there’s a saying and it says, ‘once you’ve hit rock bottom, the only way is up.’ But rock bottom just seems to keep getting more and more rock bottom for me.”
Lin went on underlining: “Free agency has been tough cause I feel like in some ways the NBA’s kind of given up on me.” He also admitted he does not feel like he is actually an NBA Champion with the Toronto Raptors after averaging just 3.4 minutes per game in 8 appearances in the 2019 Playoffs.

NBA teams might not be keen on adding Lin, but he will surely attract attention from EuroLeague with CSKA Moscow rumored to be interested for his services or CBA sides because of his popularity in China. The real question is how long he is willing to wait for an NBA opportunity before considering other possible options.
Lin has played 505 NBA games since 2010 including 25 in the Playoffs. The Harvard alumni averaged 11.6 points, 4.3 assists and 2.8 rebounds per Regular Season contest and 7.2 points, 2.2 assists and 2 rebounds per Playoffs match.
