Latvian center Anzejs Pasecniks said that he’s negotiations “mostly” with NBA clubs.
The talks are ongoing and I can’t say anything yet. I don’t have a contract at the moment and I am a free agent. But let’s just say that the negotiations are mostly with NBA teams. Of course, things can always get a lot different, but I can’t comment more specifically,” Pasecniks said to Latvian website Sportazinas.
Pasecniks, 23, has been a free agent after completing the season in Spain with Gran Canaria. He averaged 7.2 points and 3.6 rebounds in 16:52 over 22 games in his debut EuroLeague season, plus 5.4 rebounds and 3.0 rebounds in 14.0 minutes over 34 games of the Spanish ACB League.
The Philadelphia 76ers acquired Anzejs Pasecniks in the 2017 Draft after getting the 25th overall pick by the Orlando Magic via trade. The Sixers renounced the rights to the player in July.
