Los Angeles Lakers center DeMarcus Cousins has suffered a torn ACL in his knee, according to Shams Charania. The four-time NBA All-Star will undergo final tests which are expected to confirm the torn ACL diagnosis.
After recovering from a torn left Achilles, Cousins played 30 regular season games for the Golden State Warriors and averaged 16.3 points along with 8.2 rebounds. The 28-year-old center also suffered a torn left quadriceps in the first round of the playoffs which kept him sidelined until the Finals.
Cousins signed a one-year minimum deal with the Lakers this summer.
