When it comes to taking shots, James Harden is a master of the art. Still, he impressed everyone with his career-high 41 shots attempted against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday evening.
The Rockets prevailed with a 125-105 victory and Harden posted a total of 49 points for his team.
Harden took 17 shots in the first period, scoring 18 points. He finished the game with 41 shots, going 8-of-19 from inside the arc and 8-of-22 from the three-point line.
“We’ve got six, seven guys out (including Russell Westbrook). So it could have been an easy game, where we just chalked it up and got ready for the next game. We wanted to come here and win this game, and we showed it”, Harden said after the game.
Rockets are on to a seven-game winning streak and take up Portland Trail Blazers next.
