Nikola Jokic came one rebound shy of tying his career-high of 21 to help the Denver Nuggets defeated the Washington Wizards 117 – 106 to capture their sixth win in a row.
Jokic grabbed a season-high 20 rebounds and also scored eight points and dished out five assists. The Serbian center would most likely set a new career-high in rebounds if he stayed more on the court since he played just 25 minutes.
Jerai Grant scored a team-high 20 for Denver. Juancho Hernangomez had three points in 12 minutes.
Davis Bertans finished with 14 points off the bench on 3/9 from the field for the Wizards.
