Dragan Bender dropped a season-high 12 points in the Milwaukee Bucks‘ 137 – 96 win over the Charlotte Hornets Saturday (30/11).
Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer sent Bender on the court late in the third period and the latter drained a corner triple for his first points in the NBA this season. The Croatian forward stayed on the floor for 14 minutes and shot 5/7 from the field overall.
“It’s a really good opportunity for me just to get out there and get some runs for the guys,” Bender said after the game. “It’s amazing to be on a team like this. Last few years I was on teams that struggled. It’s refreshing to be on a team like this.”
