In the midst of “MVP, MVP” chants in Mexico City, Luka Doncic delivered with a historic triple-double as Mavericks defeated Pistons 122-111. Doncic posted 41 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists across 34 minutes on the court, becoming the first player ever to record a triple-double in a game played outside of the USA/Canada.
Following Doncic’s lead, Kristaps Porzingis was also one of the Mavs’ leading scorers with 20 points and eight rebounds in 30 minutes.
Nikola Jokic slowly returns to full form as the Nuggets got past Trail Blazers with a 114-99 win. Jokic shared 20 points, 11 rebounds and six assists in this victory.
Furkan Korkmaz posted 7 points and three rebounds in Philadelphia 76ers’ 115-109 victory over Daniel Theis and the Celtics. The German power forward exited the game with 16 points and five rebounds in 24 minutes.
Cedi Osman posted 15 points and two rebounds in Cleveland Cavaliers’ 117-109 victory over San Antonio Spurs. Marco Belinelli and Jakob Poeltl shared 9 and 4 points respectively for Spurs.
