Nikola Jokic posted his fourth season and 32nd career triple-double to lead the Denver Nuggets to a 110-102 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder Saturday (14/12).
Jokic finished the game with 28 points, 14 rebounds and 12 assists in 35 minutes. The Serbian center actually posted the tripled-double with 2:30 minutes left in the third quarter, when he dished out his 10th assist. He already had 18 points and 11 rebounds when he dropped his dime no. 10.
A couple of days ago, Nuggets coach Mike Malone had said that Jokic is going through a “tough stretch.” Jokic responded that he needs to return to a high level of play, which he did on Saturday night.
By registering his 32nd career triple-double, Jokic climbed to 11th place in the list of players with most triple-doubles per Harrison Wind. He’s tied with Los Angeles Lakers guard Rajon Rondo.
