Giannis Antetokounmpo posted his third triple-double of the 2019-2020 season in the Milwaukee Bucks’ 123 – 102 win over the New York Knicks.
It took Giannis just 26 minutes to score 22 points, collect 11 rebounds and send 10 assists to his teammates. It was the Greek Freak’s first triple-double in a month and the 24 points, 19 rebounds and 15 assists he had posted in a victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on November 22.
“Stats are going to be there,” Giannis said in the Bucks’ locker room after the win. “If you are on the court and you are playing and you have great teammates that are looking for you. When you are ready and prepared and work on your game, stats are going to be there. The tough part now is how can you make those stats count.”
The Bucks are holding the best record in the NBA, having registered 26 victories in 30 games.
