Dragan Bender was named NBA G League Player of the Week for games from December 30 to January 5th. On assignment from the Milwaukee Bucks following his right ankle sprain, the Croatian big led the Wisconsin Herd to a couple of wins with 26 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.5 blocks and 1.5 steals per appearance.
