Maxi Kleber welcomed a couple of questions from Eurohoops on his Dallas Mavericks teammate Luka Doncic and Germany’s chances for advancing to the Olympic Games. “It’s a big honor,” he underlined on possibly making it to Tokyo.
Germany is set for the Olympic Qualifying Tournament at Split. Will collide with Russia and Mexico in the first round. Croatia, Tunisia, and Brazil make out the other group. Only one of the above national teams will punch in the Olympic ticket.
“It’s a big opportunity for us to get to the Olympics,” he mentioned on this summer’s goals, “I think that everybody who’s in sports wants to compete there, at the biggest stage. It’ll be a dream for everybody of us so we hope we can accomplish it.”
“He got way more confident,” he said regarding Doncic and his improvement, “He knows what to expect defensively from other teams.”
