Vladimir Lucic and Marko Guduric won’t join Serbia for the Olympic Qualifying Tournament of Belgrade, the Serbian Basketball Federation announced.
Both Lucic and Guduric are under “necessary therapeutic recovery” per the Federation following big seasons with Bayern Munich and Fenerbahce Beko respectively. Lucic is rehabilitating ankle problems while Guduric is currently in Munich to recover from a tendon issue.
Serbia is already without Aleksa Avramovic (injury) and Bogdan Bogdanovic who is competing in the NBA playoffs. Nikola Jokic has decided to skip national team games this summer.
