Team USA Basketball guard has officially cleared the health and safety protocols and he’s allowed to travel to Tokyo for the upcoming Olympic Games. The Chicago Bulls star will be joining his national team Thursday (22/7).
LaVine had entered the protocols “out of an abundance of caution” per USA Basketball and had to stay in Las Vegas while the national team made the trip to Japan. USA Basketball was hopeful that the player will be able to travel this week.
Team USA traveled to Tokyo Monday after a win over Spain in its last preparation game ahead of the Olympic tournament.
