A total of 49 players from NBA teams have been named to the final squads of the national teams participating in the Olympic Games.
Eleven of the 12 sides have at least one NBA player. In addition, 27 out of the 30 NBA teams are represented by at least one player in Tokyo.
Team USA presumably leads the way with all 12 players named by Gregg Popovich coming from the NBA.
Nigeria sits second with eight NBA players. Closely behind Australia with seven and France with six. Spain, Italy, and Argentina have three apiece, Slovenia, Japan, and Germany brought in two, and the Czech Republic settled one, Tomas Satoransky. Iran is the only side without an NBA player.
On the other end, the Miami Heat lead the league with four players in the Olympics. The Dallas Mavericks, Denver Nuggets, Milwaukee Bucks, and Utah Jazz will enjoy three of their players from July 25 to August 7.
