After the fiasco at the 2023 FIBA World Cup, several NBA superstars declared themselves available to participate under the American flag for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France.
According to Shams Charania, several huge names are set to join the Olympic roster for USA Basketball under the Eiffel Tower: Kevin Durant, LeBron James, and Steph Curry are the front-runners to lead Steve Kerr’s national team to the 5th straight gold medal at the Olympics.
After choosing to represent Team USA over Cameroon and France, Joel Embiid is also set to participate at the Olympic Games after the 2023-24 season with the Philadelphia 76ers ends, just like the Boston Celtics duo composed of Jayson Tatum and Jrue Holiday, who both already won in Tokyo.
Jrue Holiday is expected to be among the 12 members of Team USA’s roster for the 2024 Olympics, sources tell @ShamsCharania and @joevardon.
Team officials have valued Holiday’s two-way ability, point-of-attack defense and dynamic playmaking.https://t.co/jrAeW5hzrk pic.twitter.com/ilfY1mb3G3
