While the club season is yet to be over, national teams are already preparing the road to the Olympic Games in Paris 2024, with the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournaments to take place in Latvia, Puerto Rico, Greece, and Spain.

Before preparing to host Finland, Poland, the Bahamas, Lebanon, and Angola in Valencia, the Spanish national team has announced two friendly games to take place against Italy and the Dominican Republic, respectively in Madrid on June 25 and in Alicante on June 28.
Gianmarco Pozzecco and Sergio Scariolo’s teams played against each other during the 2023 FIBA World Cup European Qualifiers, sharing victories on the road (84-88 in Pesaro and 68-72 in Caceres). The Italian national team will also play against Georgia on June 23 in Trento.
