German national team head coach Gordon Herbert announced the team for the start of the training camp

Germany announced their 16-man squad for the 2024 Paris Olympics, with NBA star Dennis Schroder headlining it.

The list features all 12 players that won the 2023 FIBA World Cup, including the Wagner brothers, Moritz and Franz, as well as Daniel Theis from the NBA.

Isaac Bonga, Niels Giffey, Andreas Obst, and Nick Weiler-Babb from Bayern Munich are also included, as well as ALBA Berlin’s Louis Olinde and Johannes Thiemann.

Gordon Herbert’s squad also includes EuroLeague players like Oscar da Silva, Justus Hollatz, Maodo Lo, Johannes Voigtmann, as well as Paris’ Leon Kratzer, along with the experienced David Kramer.

Germany will play in Group B at the Men’s Olympic Basketball Tournament Paris 2024 with France, Japan, and the team that wins the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Latvia.
