Greek national team is preparing for the Olympic Qualification Tournament in Piraeus, and Giannis Antetokounmpo joined Vassilis Spanoulis squad, along his brother Kostas.
They haven’t yet joined the regular training program, but they observed the practice and the tactical segment that preceded it, getting into the team’s spirit.
The “Greek Freak” is recovering from an injury that prevented him from participating in the NBA playoffs, where the Bucks were eliminated by the Pacers in the first round. He will gradually join the program and might be seen in the first friendly game against Poland on the June 21st.
Nick Calathes, Georgios Papagiannis, Giannoulis Larentzakis and Panagiotis Kalaitzakis also joined the preparation, with the remaining 19 players who were called up expected to join tomorrow, including Dinos Mitoglou, Kostas Sloukas, Thomas Walkup…
