Greece rules out Kostas Sloukas for the summer schedule

From questionable to play for the senior national team of Greece this summer, Kostas Sloukas was officially ruled out for the international schedule on Friday.

At the bottom end of the 2024-25 campaign at the club level, the 34-year-old guard suffered a bone bruise on his right knee. Updating his status following medical tests, the Hellenic Basketball Federation projected the recovery timetable beyond the practice and game schedule in place for the team coached by Vassilis Spanoulis. Therefore, Sloukas was removed from the preliminary roster.
