Doncic puts on a show as Slovenia beats Brazil

After reaching his first NBA Finals, Luka Doncic once again put on the jersey of the Slovenian national team.

On his way to the Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Piraeus, the Dallas Mavericks star led Aleksandar Sekulic’s side to an 86-80 win over Brazil with another spectacular performance.

Luka scored 32 points on 11/19 shooting with seven assists and seven rebounds for a PIR of 34.

Aleksej Nikolic followed with 14 points, while naturalized player Josh Nebo had 10 points and four rebounds.

Brazil put up a good fight, especially Partizan’s center Bruno Caboclo with 19 points and seven rebounds. Cristiano Felicio, Gui Santos, and Leo Meindl added 10 points each for Aco Petrovic’s side.

Finland takes down Latvia

Lauri Markkanen and Kristaps Porzingis are out, but Finland and Latvia still put on a show, with the Nordic side eventually winning 90-84.

Olivier Nkamhoua led the way with 21 points, while Alexander Madsen followed with 17 points. Miro Little added 13 and Edon Maxhuni 12 points.

As for Latvia, Rihards Lomazs scored 15 points, Arturs Strautins added 11, and Davis Bertans 10 points.
