With eight out of the 12 countries competing in the 2024 Olympic Games known, four FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournaments produced the remaining berths this week.
Greece, Spain, Brazil, and Puerto Rico were the four teams that prevailed in the four tournaments with Brazil being the only non-host to make it to Paris.
With the 12 teams of the tournament divided into three groups of four teams, Group A which includes Australia, Canada, Greece, and Spain is by far the strongest. At least one or two teams of the group will not make it to the second phase, while on paper all of them have high ambitions.
