Germany is ready for the Olympic challenge, facing the hosts France, Japan, and Brazil in Group A of the Olympic Games in Paris. Their squad has been revealed on the German basketball federation’s social media profiles.

Finally thanking David Krämer, Justus Hollatz, Leon Kratzer, and Louis Olinde for their work helping the national team prepare during the training camp, the full 12-man roster was officially announced.

The ultimate roster includes Isaac Bonga, Oscar da Silva, Niels Giffey, Maodo Lo, Andreas Obst, Dennis Schröder, Daniel Theis, Johannes Thiemann, Johannes Voigtman, Franz Wagner, Moritz Wagner, and Nick Weiler-Babb.

With respect to last year’s German roster at the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup, there are only two changes. David Kramer and Justus Hollatz, who celebrated the gold medal in Asia, are replaced by Oscar da Silva and Nick Weiler-Babb.

Before heading to Paris, Gordon Herbert’s team will face Japan on July 19 in Berlin and the United States on July 22 in London to conclude their friendly-game schedule preparing for the biggest basketball appointment of the summer.
