Germany grabs prep win over the Netherlands

All players of Germany’s starting five scored in double figures as the national team crushed the Netherlands 95 – 50 in a preparation game ahead of the 2024 Olympic Games.

Andreas Obst scored a team-high 18 points on 6-8 triples to lead the German side. Daniel Theis had 16 points plus five rebounds and Franz Wagner dropped 15 points.

Keye Van Der Vuurst De Vries stood out from the Netherlands with 14 points.

Germany will next face fellow Olympian national team Japan on Friday (19/7) in Berlin. The two teams will also play against each other in the opener of Group B of the Olympic tournament on 27/7.
