The Greek national team is counting down to the 2024 Paris Olympics, but before that, they are preparing for the last official prep game against Serbia.

They will fly on Sunday afternoon (21/7) to Belgrade, and from there, they will travel directly to Lille. Kostas Antetokounmpo is doubtful for the match against the Serbs, and after this game, the final 12 for the Olympic tournament is expected to be announced.

Nick Calathes will not fly with the rest of the delegation on Sunday afternoon (21/7) but will go to Belgrade tomorrow. There is no issue; he will compete normally, but he will stay back today for some treatments.

On Monday (22/7), it will be decided whether Kostas Antetokounmpo will be able to compete, after the scheduled meeting of the doctors of Greece and Panathinaikos.

Kostas will be examined tomorrow, and we will see if we get the ‘ok’ from both sides (doctors from Greece and Panathinaikos) because this is the right thing. First from Panathinaikos and then from our own doctors here. He is already doing exercises and has great zeal to be at the Olympic Games. From then on, no matter how zealous the player is, we must know that he is 100% ready,” head coach of the Greek national team Vassilis Spanoulis said.
