Spain defeated Puerto Rico 107 – 84, a few days before the two teams compete in the Olympic Games tournament that tips off Saturday (27/7).
This was the last game for Spain captain Rudy Fernandez in domestic territory since he’s retiring after the Olympics. Fernandez scored nine points and hit a triple late in the game before Spain coach Sergio Scariolo substituted him so that the crowd, teammates and opponents could give him a well-deserved standing ovation.
Nunca habrá suficientes aplausos ni ovaciones para agradecer todo lo que has hecho por el deporte español, @rudy5fernandez.
