GER v GRE- 11:00 Local Time (09:00 GMT)

The FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 champions Germany rolled to a 3-0 record in their group to reach back-to-back Olympic Quarter-Finals for the first time in history. Greece got through group play with a 1-2 record with losses to Canada and Spain in their first Olympics since 2008.

Greece lead the all-time matchup 12-8, including winning the only game in the Olympics in 2008. But Germany knocked off the Greeks in the FIBA EuroBasket 2022 Quarter-Finals.

SRB v AUS – 14:30 Local Time (12:30 GMT)

In just their second Olympics under the current flag, the 2016 silver medalists Serbia went 2-1 in their group. Australia have reached the top eight for the fifth straight time and 12th in the last 13 Olympics. The Boomers, who went 1-2 in group play, would love to at least repeat their bronze from 2021 – their first Olympics medal.

Serbia lost to Australia 84-73 in Olympics preparations on July 16, but the teams split in two Olympics matchups in 2016 – Serbia winning 87-61 in the Semi-Finals.

FRA v CAN – 18:00 Local Time (16:00 GMT)

The hosts and three-time silver medalists (1948, 2000, 2021) France were less than convincing in reaching the Quarter-Finals for the third straight Olympics – going 2-1 in their group. Canada went a perfect 3-0 in taking top honors in their group in their first appearance since 2000.

Canada have just a 2-6 record all-time against France, including losing in the 2000 Olympic Quarter-Finals though the Americas side won their last matchup by 30 points at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023.
