All basketball teams that advanced to the Paris Olympics quarterfinals have chosen to stay in hotels outside the Olympic Village.
The organizing committee provided this option to allow teams to be closer to the Bercy Arena, where the basketball games are held.
It was previously decided that Team USA would stay outside the village, as well as Greece, France, Serbia and more.
Eventually, all teams agreed that staying in hotels would be more convenient, though there is still a practice venue within the Village utilized by the teams.
After an exciting group phase, eight teams advanced to the knockout phase of Paris Olympic Tournament, with the pairs being USA – Brazil, Serbia – Australia, Germany – Greece, and Canada – France.
