PARIS, France – Bogdan Bogdanovic had a game to remember against the USA, but when all was said and done, Steph Curry and company got the win.

“We didn’t give up, and that is something we can be proud of,” he said and asked about the refs of the game, which he didn’t want to comment on while speaking on Serbian media, he added that he didn’t want to make to much of it.

“We played the best we could. We could have made a few more shots and saved a few more possessions at the end, but that’s basketball”, he added while also admitting: “We tried to talk to them; they didn’t try to talk to us. They just walked away. But it’s ok”.

“I’m not that type of guy who will talk about referees, you know, and I even wanted to win against referees too and respect to us for keeping it calm the whole game and not talking to them, talking about this doesn’t bring anything to us now”, Bogdanovic said.

About the game, Bogdanovic explained: “We did do some good things, but we lost. In two days we have to recover and fight for the bronze. Those referees are going to be there too so I don’t want to think like a loser, even if I think that some things could have been called differently. We need to recover and play the best game that we can”.
