Nikola Jokic bought Rolex watches as gifts for the Serbian national team squad that competed in the 2024 Olympic Games and won bronze medal according to Blic.
The Rolex model that Jokic picked for his teammates costs $32,500 apiece so, in total, the Denver Nuggets superstar spent $375,500 for eleven watches.
Quite a generous move by the Joker to commemorate a special Olympic tournament for Serbia.
Serbia won the bronze medal in this year’s Olympics by beating reigning world champion Germany 93 – 83 in the third-place game of the basketball tournament. The “Orlovi” had lost 91 – 95 to Team USA in the semifinal after leading for the vast majority of the match until the very last minutes.
Jokic averaged 18.8 points, 10.7 rebounds and 8.7 assists. He became the first player ever to lead the tournaments in points, rebounds and assists (in total numbers).
