Anderson Varejao is out for the Olympics, and Chicago Bulls big man Cristiano Felicio will replace him.
The news were confirmed by the Golden State Warriiors. As they announced back specialist Dr. Robert Watkins examined Varejao earlier this week in the Los Angeles area and diagnosed him with a small disk herniation in his lower back.
Not only Varejao but also Atlanta Hawks center Tiago Splitter is unavailable for Brazil because of injury.
