Paul George is hoping to meet with the French gymnast who suffered a graphic leg injury on Saturday. Samir Aït Saïd broke his left leg during the vault qualification, ending his first Olympics.
George suffered a similar injury in July 2014. He had the idea to meet with Saïd but it’s uncertain if the meeting will be able to occur, since Saïd is not yet accepting visitors at the hospital.
The American basketball player returned to the court 9 months after the injury and he is making his first Olympic appearance this year.
